Stratford Festival conducts online promotion

The Stratford Festival of Stratford, ON is conducting an online promotion as part of a tourism marketing initiative. Visitors to the festival's Facebook page can take a 360-degree virtual tour of the theatre company's prop and costume warehouse. The presentation allows consumers to view some of the 50,000 costumes and 10,000 pairs of footwear used in the festival's productions over 60 years using a computer or mobile device.
The initiative was developed by the Stratford Tourism Alliance and the Regional Tourism Organization for Waterloo Region, and Wellington, Huron and Perth Counties in Southwestern Ontario. It is intended to encourage travel to Stratford and other nearby towns in southwester Ontario.
