BIRKS GIVING AWAY DIAMONDS

In a special holiday promotion, Henry Birks & Sons is giving one customer in each of the jewelry chain's 37 stores across the country a diamond pendant necklace valued at $1,000. No purchase is necessary to enter the contest. In addition, customers who spend at least $500 will have a chance to win a one carat flawless ideal cut diamond solitaire ring valued at $20,000. Both contests began in late November and will close on Dec. 18. The prizes will be awarded on Dec. 21. The contests are being promoted by a national print campaign. The ads were developed in-house with the help of Calexis Advertising of Toronto. Continental Communications of Toronto is handling PR for the promotion.
