HERTZ DRIVES WITH O&M

Ogilvy & Mather of Toronto got the keys to the Hertz Canada account recently. The deal takes effect Jan. 1, 1997. The agency won in a competition with two other short-listed agencies. Originally, the car rental company spoke to five agencies. The incumbent on the account was Roche, Macaulay & Partners Advertising. The agency and Hertz mutually agreed to part ways last August. Hertz has over 5,000 locations in 150 countries.
