Diabetes Canada retains Fuse Marketing Group
By Adnews Staff
Diabetes Canada has hired Fuse Marketing Group of Toronto to develop its marketing and fundraising initiatives. Fuse won the account in a competitive pitch process. The assignment includes the planning and management of a series of promotions in support of the organization's "End Diabetes" program. These will focus on attracting donations and raising awareness of the disease.
"Of the agencies we reviewed, Fuse was undoubtedly the best fit," said Mapy Villaudy, chief development officer and vice-president of marketing and communications at Diabetes Canada. "Their talented team brought a creative approach to our marketing challenges, and we're confident that they are able to mobilize engagement as well as donations across both digital and live activations."
The agency's first work for Diabetes Canada is a national campaign called "Strike out Stigma," which encourages individuals and corporations to stage rallies using downloadable print materials and guides from a new website at <http://www.enddiabetes.ca>. The site was developed by Eccentric Arts. The campaign also makes use of social media activities and print elements. It will run until April 30.
