Canadian Hockey League begins CHL Fanbase promotion

The Canadian Hockey League has begun a new promotion called "CHL Fanbase," an online initiative intended to engage fans of the league and its teams as its playoff rounds begin. Developed by Stadium Digital of Toronto, the program awards points to visitors who use its Playoff Predictor game. The game encourages players to predict the results of the OHL, WHL and QMJHL playoff series. The winner will receive a trip to the Mastercard Memorial Cup. The site also offers other contests, promotions and event information. It is located at <http://www.chlfanbase.ca>

"CHL Fanbase is natural digital extension of our services for the CHL, enabling the league to connect with fans on a whole new level," said Mark Silver, president of Stadium Digital. "Using our proprietary engagement platform not only allows the CHL to recognize and reward its fans, it also empowers the league and teams to track behavioral fan data and ultimately help the CHL to develop custom promotions, programs and other partner initiatives that drive further engagement."
