Toyota extends KartStart sponsorship

Toronto-based automaker Toyota Canada has extended its KartStart sponsorship for another three years. For the past seven years, the company has been the presenting sponsor of this national series of kart races for children. In 2017, events will take place in Chilliwack, BC; Red Deer, AB; Lumsden, SK; Winnipeg, MB; Millgrove, ON; Innisfil, ON; Saint Eustache, QC; Saint-Célestin, QC; Dieppe, NB; and Goffs, NS.
"The excitement of getting behind the wheel of a vehicle for the first time shines on the face of every kid participating in KartStart," said Cyril Dimitris, vice-president of Toyota Canada. "The number of important skills these young future drivers acquire during this engaging, hands-on safety education program is remarkable."
