Motorcycle council begins Ride Canada campaign

The Motorcycle & Moped Industry Council and Power Sport Services recently hired Tag of Toronto to develop a new website for their series of motorcycle and ATV consumer shows. The site, located at <http://www.ridecanada150.ca>, is timed to coincide with the 150th anniversary of Canada.

The site it accompanied by a campaign called "Ride Canada" that encourages consumers to submit photographs of "inspirational" places through which they have ridden. Submitted images will be incorporated into a mosaic at the site. Participants will be entered into a draw for $10,000 toward the purchase of a motorcycle. The campaign also includes social media activities, digital advertising and public relations. It will run through the 2017 riding season.

"No matter the demographic, riders share a common passion for life on two wheels, and they enjoy sharing their rides and experiences," said Gabi Armstrong, executive vice-president at Tag. "We want to bring riders and aspiring riders of all ages and genders together to celebrate not only their love of riding, but their pride and love of Canada."
