Scotiabank conducts campus campaign

Scotiabank has begun a back-to-school season campaign called "Scene Saves the Day." The initiative consists of visits to 56 college and university campuses nationally. At each stop, promotional workers distribute free popcorn to students, as well as selfie sticks to students who sign-up for an in-branch appointment with the bank. The effort focuses on the bank's loyalty program, via which students receive points with purchases that can be redeemed for movie tickets, dining and sports equipment, among other products and services. The campaign also includes out-of-home and digital advertising, as well as social media activities through Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.
