BLACKCOMBE PREPARES FOR SKI SEASON

Glennie Stamnes Strategy of Vancouver will launch a B.C. campaign for Blackcombe Mountain ski resort by early January. The campaign will use TV, radio, outdoor and print to tout the Whistler, B.C. resort. Glennie Stamnes won the Blackcombe account this past summer without a review. It has been doing project work for the resort for the past year. The incumbent on the account was Wasserman & Partners of Vancouver. The agency had the account for 15 years. Blackcombe had been using both agencies for the past year. The resort is owned and operated by Intrawest Corporation of Vancouver.
