Women's College Hospital conducts Health Gap campaign

Women's College Hospital in Toronto has begun a campaign called "The Health Gap" intended to raise awareness of the impact of sex and gender differences on the quality of healthcare received by women. The campaign includes a campaign website at <>, as well as transit and newspaper advertising, content marketing, media relations and social media activities. The initiative will also make use of a newspaper supplement.

"The Health Gap significantly impacts women's health and their quality of life," said Marilyn Emery, president and CEO of Women's College Hospital. "As a world leader in advocating for and advancing the health of women, Women's College Hospital felt it was our responsibility to raise awareness of this important issue. We're reaching out to our partners and colleagues throughout the health sector and asking them to join us in affecting change and to help us close the Health Gap for women."
