Mucho Burrito conducts Mucho Election contest

Fast food chain Mucho Burrito has begun an online promotion called "Mucho Election." The initiative is being conducted through a website at <http://www.muchoelection.ca>, where consumers can vote for a limited-time item to be returned to the chain's menu. Each option is presented in the manner of a political candidate. Consumers can vote by sharing one of these options via Facebook or Twitter. Consumers are also encouraged to disparage the other options. Participants will be entered into a draw for a year's worth of free burritos. The contest is being supported with online banner ads, social media ads and in-store materials. The campaign was developed by DS&P of Toronto, with media buying by Cairns O'Neil.

"Our guests are always asking us to bring back many of these unique limited time offers from the past," said Norm Pickering, director of marketing at Mucho Burrito. "We are happy to give the power to the people."
