COMPANY BRINGS EUROPE TO DIRECT MARKETERS

A consortium of ten European postal organizations has published a pair of guides that offer tips on cracking the European direct market. Known as the Postal Direct Marketing Service, the consortium says in a press release that direct mailing is accounting for a greater share of the total media consumption in Europe. But it adds it is vital to understand the differences when direct marketing in another country. PDMS' first book, entitled PDMS Guide for Cross-Border Direct Marketers, offers tips, checklists, useful addresses and a couple of case histories. The second book, Europe Direct, is a research report on European direct marketing do's and don'ts, trends and statistics.
