Ikea Canada releases new mobile application

Home furnishings retailer Ikea Canada has released a new version of its mobile application intended primarily to be used by shoppers in its stores. It makes use of a new visual design and allows consumers to check items off of shopping lists, browse the chain's catalog of merchandise, check stock availability and find products in-store. The free application is available in English and French for Android and Apple devices.
"Our ambition is to be more accessible to our customers and to tailor each shopping experience to meet their individual needs," said Stefan Sjöstrand, president of Ikea Canada. "Smartphones are now the go-to source for information for many of our customers and the new Ikea Store app is designed to make the shopping experience even more seamless in a way that is most convenient for them."
