SPRINT SNAGS ITS LAST PROVINCE

Sprint Canada Inc. of Toronto now has its business and residential long distance service in every province in Canada. The company introduced its services to Saskatchewan last week. Until recently, all long-distance service in Saskatchewan had been provided by SaskTel. Sprint will offer its full range of long-distance residential and business services to the residents of the province. An ad campaign touting Sprint's long-distance plans will accompany the introduction of the service. Ads will run in local markets on TV and in print. The company will also use direct mail and telemarketing. Grey Advertising Ltd. of Toronto created the ads. Sprint has been rolling out its service to all of the province since 1994.
