Bixi extends agreement with Astral

Bicycle sharing service Bixi Montreal has renewed its agreement with Astral Out of Home for the management of its advertising display faces. The new deal will run for the next five years. It includes the management of 420 displays mounted on bicycle racks in 11 Montreal neighbourhoods, primarily in the downtown area.
"Astral Out of Home is thrilled to pursue its business partnership with Bixi and contribute to the sustainability of this important service for Montrealers," said Luc Beaulieu, vice-president of Quebec real estate and street furniture at Astral. "By doubling Bixi's advertising faces, on top of approximately 710 column faces, 40 digital column faces, and 72 MegaColumn faces, we are proud to provide advertisers with an unparalleled out-of-home advertising offering in several Montreal boroughs."
Bixi is a non-profit organization founded by the City of Montreal. It operates 5,200 bicycles and 460 bike stations in Montreal, Longueuil and Westmount.
