New president at National Post

Postmedia Network of Toronto has appointed Gordon Fisher to the position of president of the National Post. Fisher has held this position before, from 2010 to 2013. He has also been publisher of the National Post, as well as news and information president at Canwest Global Communications. Fisher was also editor-in-chief, general manager and publisher of the Ottawa Citizen, publisher of the Kingston-Whig Standard and managing editor of The Vancouver Sun. He his currently president of the Pacific Newspaper Group, and will remain so.
