AMA Insurance conducts Alberta campus campaign

AMA Insurance has begun an out-of-home awareness campaign in Alberta aimed at university students. The campaign was developed by Taxi and Mediactive and makes use of campus advertising displays from Newad. It will run until August of 2015 at the University of Alberta, MacEwan University and the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, among other schools. The creative makes use of the tagline, "Damage Happens Fast" and images that appear to change when viewed from different angles. This out-of-home initiative follows an earlier phase of the campaign consisting of online and cinema advertising.

"The basic idea was to reach young adults and demonstrate how property damage can arise at any moment," said Tania Nease, associate media director at Mediactive. "We were looking to heighten their awareness and help them by providing access to fast, easy protection. The idea was to migrate our digital campaign to a physical environment that would be relevant and perfectly aimed at youth."
