Ski-Doo signs sponsorship deal with Burton Snowboards

Bombardier Recreational Products of Valcourt, QC has signed a sponsorship agreement with Burton Snowboards of Burlington, VT. Through this agreement, Bombardier's Ski-Doo brand will become the official snowmobile of Burton's team of professional snowboarders. The two companies will also co-develop products aimed at snowboarders and snowmobilers. In addition, Ski-Doo will sponsor the Burton Mountain Festival series of snowboard demonstration events.
"Partnering with BRP and Ski-Doo is a natural extension for Burton and our team of pro snowboarders," said Nicholas Sargent, vice-president of global business alliances at Burton. "Our riders use sleds to access fresh powder and new terrain all season long, so they're really excited to have an official partnership with the Ski-Doo brand. We also look forward to integrating Ski-Doo into the Burton Mountain Festival, which will give them a strong brand presence at the leading snowboard demo experience in North America."
