Cossette launches Toronto Cossette Lab

Cossette has launched a Toronto location of its Cossette Lab initiative. The division is intended to incubate technology-related start-up companies nationally. The initiative began in Montreal in 2012. Participating companies will be hosted at the location from six to 12 months. During this time, Cossette personnel will offer development advice and connections with Cossette clients. The program is open to companies that have developed a technology that will benefit Cossette or its clients. The Toronto Cossette Lab will be headed by Joe Dee, vice-president of product and technology strategy at Cossette.
"There are many young entrepreneurs with exciting ideas who just need that little bit of help to take their ideas from concept to reality," said Dave Lafond, president of Cossette English Canada. "We're here to help provide that bridge, either in the form of advice or in providing a physical location where people can come to share their ideas or tap into our expertise and tech services."
