SONY TO RELEASE STREETPROOFING VIDEOS

Sony Wonder will release a four-part educational video series next week aimed at streetproofing Canadians. Entitled "Never Be A Victim", the series will show families, students and communities how to deal with potentially dangerous situations. Topics covered will include preventing abduction and molestation, recognizing dangerous places, dealing with strangers and overall safety skills. The series was produced in conjunction with the Metropolitan Toronto Police. National print and radio ads will support the launch of the video series. National TV will be used beginning in mid-November. Sony created the advertising and executed the media buy in-house. Joanne Smale Productions of Toronto will do PR.
