X-FILES TAKES TOP SPOT

With TV's season premieres underway, alien thriller the X-Files returned to the number one spot in TV ratings last week, according to ACNielsen of Markham, Ont. Medical dramas improving their ratings were ER, which came in at number three and Chicago Hope which grabbed eighth spot. The sitcom Friends took the number two spot, while Seinfeld and the Single Guy rounded out the top five.
