Canadian Ski Council, Family Channel begin joint promotion

The Canadian Ski Council has begun a joint promotion with Family Channel and Disney XD Canada. The promotion supports the council's Grade 4 & 5 SnowPass program as well as the Disney Channel snowboarding movie Cloud 9. The movie will debut on Family Channel on Jan. 17 and Disney XD Canada on Jan. 26.
During the initiative, promotional workers will visit various ski resorts nationally to conduct special events. The events will offer ski hill activities, photography sessions, giveaways and a contest component. The winner of the contest will receive a trip for four to Big White Ski Resort. Attendees can also sign up for the SnowPass program, which offers free skiing and snowboarding to children at approximately 150 ski areas nationally.
Events will take place Snow Valley in Barrie, ON, Big White Ski Resort in Kelowna, BC, Blue Mountain in Collingwood, ON, Nakiska in Kananaskis, AB, Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver, BC and Mt. St. Louis Moonstone in Coldwater, ON during the month of January.
