Sharma joins GCI Group

Toronto-based GCI Group has appointed Atul Sharma to the position of senior vice-president in its public affairs practice. He will oversee the agency's national and provincial public affairs practice. Sharma was most recently vice-president of public affairs and deputy group leader at Hill&Knowlton Strategies. Prior to that, he was the executive director for Ontario of the Canadian Plastics Industry Association. He has also been a senior policy advisor the the Government of Ontario and vice-president of policy development and chief economist at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.
