Muir joins Cohn & Wolfe

Cohn & Wolfe of Toronto has appointed Wes Muir to the position of vice-president. He will focus on corporate communications and public affairs clients. Muir was most recently a principal Manor Hall Advisors, a public affairs and communications firm. Prior to that, he was North American director of external communications at Waste Management. He was also communications director at the UK-based International Council on Mining and Metals, director of public affairs and communications at Rio Algom, senior consultant at Government Policy Consultants, and an account supervisor at Burson-Marsteller.
