Cieslok Media buys Canadian arm of Titan

Media executive Jörg Cieslok has purchased the Canadian division of out-of-home media company Titan. Cieslok made the purchase in partnership with private equity firm Clairvest Group. Cieslok was most recently executive vice-president and general manager of Titan's Canadian operation. Cieslok sold his own out-of-home company, Cieslok Media, to Titan in 2004. The new entity will again be called Cieslok Media, with Cieslok in the position of president and chief executive officer. It will maintain its head office in Toronto, with additional offices in Montreal and Vancouver. The company will offer large-scale out-of-home media, including signage at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto, and mobile advertising services.
"We are very enthusiastic about this partnership," said Robbie Isenberg, a principal at Clairvest. "Cieslok Media offers unique positioning and is a great growth platform for large format outdoor advertising. Jörg Cieslok has a proven track record in this area and is held in high esteem by the advertising community."
