Gibson joins HootSuite

Vancouver-based social media marketing company HootSuite has appointed Jeanette Gibson to the position of vice-president of community. She will lead the company's outreach programs. Gibson was most recently senior director of social media and digital marketing at Cisco Systems. Prior to that, she spent 11 years as director of corporate communications at Cisco. She has also worked for public relations agencies Miller Communications and Copithorne & Bellows.
