Ace Bakery readies Artisan Incubator

Ace Bakery of Toronto has begun a campaign called the "Artisan Incubator" tied to the 20th anniversary of the company. Developed by We Are Tonic, also based in Toronto, the initiative takes the form of a three-day event beginning June 20 that will include workshops and panel discussions aimed at culinary artisans. Participants will also receive advertising and media exposure. The event is being promoted with three 15-second television commercials on Food Network, as well as an eight-page insert in the Globe and Mail, online advertising and social media activities. BMO Financial Group has signed-on as the primary sponsor of the event. "We've been pleased to have worked with Ace Bakery for many years and our team at We Are Tonic were excited to create the Artisan Incubator as a unique way to engage consumers with this brand, while demonstrating Ace's commitment to helping fellow artisans move their business forward," said Anita Dong, CEO of We Are Tonic.
