We Are Tonic opens in Toronto

A new agency called We Are Tonic has opened in Toronto. The firm consists of 30 staff members headed by CEO Anita Dong, formerly president of McDonnell Haynes. "Our name embodies the restorative creative vigour and well-being that is possible when the right mix of talent gets together to have the right kind of conversations." said agency president Philip George, previously of TBWA Toronto. "We believe today's most ambitious clients are seeking these kinds of conversations and the ideas that are derived from them." Mark Biernacki and Steph Mackie from Lowe Roche are the agency's executive creative directors, while Dave Sylvestre, previously at McDonnell Haynes, has signed-on as interactive creative director.
