Astral Mix launches new service for movie campaigns

Astral Mix of Montreal has launched a new service called Cinemix, which is intended to allow advertisers of new film releases to target its customers on Astral properties and on mobile devices. The service offers exposure for films through "Now Showing" segments that can include a choice of hosts, preview material, audience reaction footage and actor interviews, followed by the film's trailer. The service covers 10 specialty television channels, two radio stations, the Astral Out-of-Home digital inventory, 13 websites and a mobile component. "Cinemix is an industry first, offering film promoters a one-stop custom shop to maximize box office success and go beyond traditional promotional campaigns," said Michelle LaBarre, vice-president of Astral Mix. "Combining equal parts flexibility and targeting, Cinemix is Astral Mix's latest initiative to stand out from the competition and offer advertisers solutions that truly meet their needs."
