Smith joins BBC Worldwide Canada

Toronto-based BBC Worldwide Canada has appointed Michael Smith to the position of senior vice-president of television sales, co-productions and digital distribution. He will work to develop a five-year plan intended to increase the broadcaster's Canadian marketshare. Smith was previously vice-president of television and digital sales at Entertainment One. Prior to that, he was director of corporate partnerships for the Toronto Argonauts and executive director at JV Media.
