Air Canada rebrands frequent flyer program

Montreal-based Air Canada has rebranded its frequent flyer program Top Tier. Now called Altitude, the program offers a collection of special privileges to its members, including complimentary checked bagage, higher upgrade priority and other special offers. The company has also launched a new website for the program, located at . "We have renamed our Top Tier program Air Canada Altitude and re-designed it to better recognize and reward our most frequent flyers," said Craig Landry marketing vice-president at Air Canada. "These changes are the most significant made to the program since we launched Air Canada Super Elite status over 15 years ago. Altitude stands out as one of the leading frequent flyer recognition programs in the world, re-designed to offer Air Canada customers the privileges that are best aligned with their travel frequency and needs."
