Lavigne joins Hill&Knowlton Strategies

Brad Lavigne will join Hill&Knowlton Strategies of Ottawa office as vice-president of public affairs on Jan. 2, 2013. Lavigne was most recently principal secretary to the Leader of the Official Opposition under Jack Layton and Nycole Turmel. From 2009 to 2011, he was the national director of the federal New Democratic Party. He was also the national campaign director for the NDP in 2011. Lavigne was director of strategic communications for Jack Layton from 2006 to 2009. He has also been chief of staff to the Minister of Finance of in British Columbia, a ministerial assistant to the BC Minister of Advanced Education, and a policy advisor in the Premier of British Columbia's Youth Office.
