Buchanan Group launches Home Tester Club

Buchanan Group of Toronto has launched a new website called the Home Tester Club at <http://www.hometesterclub.ca>. The site is intended to serve as a forum where consumers can discuss new consumers packaged goods products. The content also includes lists of new products divided into categories, as well as recipe ideas for food products and cooking demonstration videos. The site concept was first introduced in South Africa last year. The company plans to further expand the service into Australia, the US and parts of Asia. The Canadian site is being launched with the 60,000 existing users of its Brand Power website as its initial user base. The site currently contains approximately 1,300 product reviews from Canadian users. "There are new products on supermarket shelves every day," said Chris Phyland, CEO of Buchanan Group. "Home Tester Club provides a forum for consumers to gather online to explore what's new in the world of consumer packaged goods and to share their new product experiences with fellow members. For years, Brand Power has been helping Canadians buy better by telling them new product stories from the manufacturer's perspective. Now we're providing a forum for consumers to share new product insights with each other as a means to making purchase decisions that are even more informed."
