ISRAEL PIZZA HUT TO DOUBLE AD SPENDING

Pizza Hut in Israel has a new licencee who plans on opening more restaurants and doubling the chain's advertising spending in the coming year. Pizza Hut is now being run in the country by real estate mogul Shlomo Dahuki, who also has the Israeli license for Kentucky Fried Chicken. Over the next year, Pizza Hut will add another 10 restaurants and delivery outlets to the chain. Advertising is expected to double to $2 million(US). Pizza Hut has also moved its ad account to Gitam/BBDO of Tel Aviv. The incumbent was Bauman Ber Rivnai, also of Tel Aviv.
