Kia Canada and Shaw Media will conduct a second annual "Kia Drive Change Day" promotion on Aug. 21. The national campaign is encourages Canadians to nominate a project or charity in their community for one of four $10,000 donations. The promotion is being supported with a national campaign consisting of 30-second commercials on various Shaw broadcast and digital properties. The creative features a number of television personalities from Shaw programs. The campaign also includes broadcast billboards, bumpers and animated bugs directing viewers to a website at DriveChangeWithKia.ca. Other elements include social media activities and community events. "Drive Change Day represents inspiring Canadians to get involved and make positive changes," said Maria Soklis, vice-president and chief operating officer at Kia Canada. "We're challenging Canadians to join together and work towards improving their communities. Over 117 Drive Change events were recorded last year, and with the continued support of Shaw Media, this year's Drive Change Day is sure to be a huge success."
