Plug'n Drive Ontario conducted a promotion at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto yesterday called "EV Day." The event was intended to bring together various electric car manufacturers to display their products and offer test drives. Seven cars were displayed, including the Chevrolet Volt, Fisker Karma, Mitsubishi I-MiEV, Nissan Leaf, Toyota Prius, Toyota RAV4 EV and Smart Fortwo. The event was sponsored by Ontario Power Generation, CAA, Norton Rose, Golder Associates, Bennett Jones, TD Bank and Toronto Hydro. Plug'n Drive Ontario is a non-profit organization that promotes the adoption of electric cars.
