HONGKONG BANK SPLITS BUSINESS

The HongKong Bank of Canada has hired an agency to focus on multicultural advertising. LLT Advertising of Toronto won the business last week without a review. The agency approached the bank with a pitch. LLT's New York-based parent company, LLT International, handles U.S. multicultural advertising for Hongkong Bank and Marine Midland Bank. Bryant, Fulton & Shee of Vancouver was handling multicultural and mainstream advertising for the bank in Canada. The agency will continue to create mainstream advertising. The Hongkong Bank of Canada is a member of the HSBC Group which includes the worldwide Hongkong Bank network, Hang Seng Bank, and Marine Midland Bank in the U.S. The bank has 110 branches in Canada.
