LCBO TO LAUNCH NEW IN-STORE PROMOTION

The Liquor Control Board of Ontario will go strictly French later this month. the organization will launch its "French Accents" promotion on Sept. 18 at 575 LCBO stores. The promotion will feature French wines, spirits and beer and highlight 65 products from 17 suppliers. A free French Accents recipe book featuring eight classic regional recipes with suggestions for complementary wines, spirits or beer, will be available. The stores will highlight artwork inspired by the paintings of Paul Cezanne, informative displays, advice on food and product matching and tastings in selected stores. Rounding out the in-store activities is a draw for a 12-day Contiki Holidays Best of France tour for two, including excursions to wineries in Burgundy and the Loire Valley. The promotion was created in-house by the LCBO.
