BATON CHIEF STEPS ASIDE

Baton Broadcasting Inc. president and CEO Douglas Bassett will step down from the position in December. He will remain as vice-chairman of the company and chairman of the CTV Television Network, of which Toronto-based Baton is the single largest shareholder. Chief operating officer Ivan Fecan will replace Bassett.
