Irvine joins Mountain Equipment Co-op

Vancouver-based outdoor equipment and clothing retailer Mountain Equipment Co-op has hired John Irvine to oversee its public relations and sports marketing activities. He has spent the last ten years at Arc'teryx Equipment of North Vancouver, retail chain with a similar product line. Irvine previously worked for Mountain Equipment Co-op in the 1990s in its buying and design department as product manager for the snowsports and watersports categories.
