Canada Dry Mott's has begun a promotion for its Dr Pepper beverage brand tied to the upcoming release of the Marvel Studios film The Avengers. The promotion includes six collectible cans featuring characters from the film. The initiative also includes an online game at <http://www.drpepper.com> and a new television commercial that depicts a group of people assembling for comic book creator Stan Lee. In addition, specially-marked packages of Dr Pepper will contain an identification number that can be entered online for a chance to win an Xbox 360 video game console. "Dr Pepper and Avengers fans both crave epic adventure," said Carol-Anne Gower, vice-president of marketing and business development at Canada Dry Mott's. "Dr Pepper is teaming up with Marvel to provide a one-of-a-kind Avengers experience, something fans can't get anywhere else."
