ZoomerMedia of Toronto has promoted Beverley Shenken to the position of vice-president of programming for the television division. She will direct acquisition and scheduling for specialty channel VisionTV, digital fitness and lifestyle channel The Brand New One, and the over-the-air stations Joytv10 in Vancouver and Joytv11 in Winnipeg. Shenken joined the company in 2001 as director of acquisitions. Prior to that, she was manager of international sales at Discovery Channel Canada.
