ARTHRITIS SOCIETY AND PFIZER TEAM UP

September is arthritis month across Canada, and The Arthritis Society and Pfizer Canada Inc. have joined forces in a campaign aiming to increase awareness of rheumatoid arthritis, a disabling disease that affects 300,000 Canadians. The campaign will vary from province to province, with public service announcements appearing in newspapers, on radio and on TV. The largest effort will take place in Ontario. Door-to-door canvassing will also take place across Canada. Berkley Studios of Richmond Hill, Ont. did most of the creative work on the campaign, while the Arthritis Society wrote material for the campaign's visual aspects. Florence Giuly Communications of Richmond Hill was also involved. Foresight Visual Communications of Toronto created a video entitled "It's Time We Face Arthritis".
