Mazda Canada of Richmond Hill, ON has begun an online contest promotion called "Defy Convention." The contest, which is being conducted through the brand's Facebook page, invites consumers to submit personal works of creativity, achievement or impact on society by means of an uploaded video, photograph or written story. Public voting will determine the winner, who will receive a 2013 Mazda CX-5. "At Mazda, we challenge the status quo every day," said Vito Paladino, marketing director at Mazda Canada. "We don't just build cars. We build cars for people who care about what they drive. Mazda owners are passionate about their cars, and they are also very passionate about living every day to the fullest. This contest gives them a chance to show how they're making a difference." The contest will run until June 8.
