CANADIAN AIRLINES RE-LAUNCHES GETAWAY FARES

Canadian Airlines will bring back its Weekend Getaway Fares beginning Sept. 7. The airline will reduce fares by as much as 85% to 133 markets in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. There is an advance booking requirement of three days. Customers travelling within Canada or to the U.S. must depart on a Saturday and return the following Monday or Tuesday. Those travelling to London have the option of an extra day. Ads for the Getaway program began appearing last week in major daily newspapers across Canada. The English ads were created by Gee, Jeffery & Partners of Toronto, while the Quebec ads were handled by the BCP Group Ltd. of Montreal.
