Kobo promotes launch of Vox in Toronto

Kobo conducted a promotion for its Vox e-reader in Toronto yesterday. The promotion took the form of a launch event for the device, during which a digital video screen displayed a stream of information from the company's Kobo Pulse social media service. The event also included product demonstrations. "The multi-venue launch experience we're hosting is designed to take Vox into hands of people so they can engage and experience the ultimate social reading experience," said Michael Serbinis, CEO of Kobo. "Readers can get more out of their experience by connecting with Kobo's global community of booklovers. "Plus, with Kobo Vox you have the freedom to do more; connect with friends, listen to music, watch movies, play games and discover new apps with almost unlimited choices."
