Kraft begins Make Your Face a Maynards promotion

Kraft Foods has begun a contest promotion for its Maynards candy brand called "Make Your Face a Maynards." Until Sept. 30, consumers can upload photographs of their faces to the Maynards Canada Facebook page and use the site to modify the images into a candy-themed caricature and apply it to a mock-up of a candy package. Ten entries will be selected by a judging panel and posted to the site. A random draw will determine the winner, who will receive a one-year supply of Maynards candy featuring their face, $5,000 and a trip for two to the Maynards factory in Toronto. "Maynards fans are an extremely passionate bunch when it comes to expressing their love for their favourite candy," said Jessica Sheth, brand manager at Maynards Candy. "So we thought why not let a Maynards fan actually be a Maynards? Maynards is offering a unique opportunity to immortalize the face of one of its fans in a special, sweet way for everyone to enjoy."
