Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation hires Doug & Serge

The Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation has retained Toronto-based Doug & Serge as its agency of record. The firm won the account in a request for proposals process involving an unknown number of contenders. The agency will work to communicate the workings of deposit insurance and to raise awareness of the CDIC brand nationally. "Doug & Serge won us over with their experienced and dynamic team, it's quick understanding of CDIC's advertising challenges and opportunities, and the potential it offers in moving our brand and the issue of deposit insurance forward in the future," said Sophie Roux, the corporation's director of communications and public affairs.
