Janes Family Foods conducts FlatJacks campaign

Janes Family Foods has begun a new campaign called "Jack Be Quick" in support of its FlatJacks line of precooked chicken. The campaign, developed by Fuse Marketing Group of Toronto, includes six online videos posted to <http://www.flatjacks.ca> and YouTube. The videos depict the activities of a chicken spokescharacter called Flat Jack. The promotion also includes an online contest component in which three winners will receive $10,000. Consumers can enter the contest by submitting identification numbers found on product packaging to the brand's website. Social media activities will support the campaign. "We wanted to generate awareness and trial of FlatJacks and introduce the product in a fun and memorable way through a character that consumers would enjoy," said Linda Fox, director of marketing at Janes Family Foods. "We worked with Fuse to bring Flat Jack to life, giving him free range to hatch his own plans, which resulted in a campaign that cuts through the clutter and showcases the brand attributes in a unique way."
