Toronto Life hires Sanati

Maryam Sanati will join Toronto Life in March in the newly-created position of editorial director for special projects. She will primarily manage the development of the magazine's annual publications, which include its Wedding Guide, Eating & Drinking, Home Guide and Style issues. Sanati was previously editor-in-chief of Chatelaine. She has also previously worked as deputy editor of Report on Business magazine and, deputy editor of the Globe and Mail Review section and deputy editor of Shift magazine.
